A discovery call is a complimentary 15-minute phone session designed to determine if our integrative approach is the right fit for your health goals. During the call, you’ll have the opportunity to briefly share your health concerns and history. We will explain how functional medicine works at Greenland Medical and outline the potential diagnostic pathways without any obligation.
How do I decide between an in-person or virtual consultation?
We recommend in-person visits for initial consultations, especially for complex cases or the Bredesen Protocol, as they allow for a more nuanced discussion and any necessary physical assessments. However, virtual consultations are an excellent, high-quality option for follow-ups, results reviews, or for clients living outside of London who require expert guidance from the comfort of their own home.
What should I prepare for my first full appointment?
To make the most of your time, please complete our medical intake forms via the Practice Member Portal at least 48 hours before your visit. It is also helpful to have copies of recent blood tests, a list of current medications or supplements, and a brief timeline of your symptoms ready.
Do you accept private health insurance?
Most functional medicine services are not covered by standard UK private health insurance. However, some patients can reclaim costs if their policy includes "General Physician" or "Specialist" cover. We recommend checking with your insurer beforehand; we can provide a detailed receipt to assist with your claim.
